NMG launches new radio station

QFM went on air at 5am this morning. We chose the name 'Q' because we are introducing something that has been missing from Swahili radio (and the letter Q is missing from the Swahili alphabet!)

QFM will sound different with a fresh mix of music that is unlike anything you've heard before. It takes News seriously and will deliver credible and balanced bulletins. The on air sound will be smooth, professional and just as 'cool' as the English stations.

QFM has also had a successful launch in most of the major towns around the country. You can tune in to the new voices on radio on frequency 94.4 in Nairobi, 96.7 in Eldoret, 87.9 in Mombasa, 103.3 in Nakuru, Nyeri 90.9 and Meru it is on 107.1.
