blames bad roads, rail for congestion
The Kenya Ports Authority is once gain pointing
an accusing finger at the Rift Valley Railways
(RVR), poor roads and improving economies
in the region for the chronic cargo congestion
at the port of Mombasa.
The
bullish run seen on the Uganda Securities
Exchange (USE) over the past few months has
been attributed to an influx of foreign investors
especially from Kenya.
Tanzania
exported goods and services worth $14.9 million
in August, compared with exports valued $5.7
million recorded in June, ending months of
low performance.
